Description
There are two barns at Bedwell Park Farm, located on the north side of the farmyard. These barns date from the late 18th century or early 19th century and are timber framed with weatherboarding. They feature a slate roof and a tall red brick base with a plinth. The long barn on the north side has approximately 12 bays and includes two gabled cart entrances near the ends on the south side. A smaller three-bay barn connects at the southeast angle and has a cart entrance on the west side. Both barns have roofs supported by queen-strut, tie-beam, and collar-brace construction.
