Description
Two barns, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, stand to the south east of Beagley’s Cottage. They are timber-framed structures built on a stone plinth, with weatherboard cladding and some ironstone panels to the rear. The roofs are tiled, half-hipped, with a softwood ridge replacing the original in the 19th century. The two barns are linked and include an implement shed to the rear. The eastern barn comprises four bays, with an aisle added to the south (rear) and a short, stone-walled aisle to the north under a pentice roof. A double waggon door is located in the center of this barn. The western barn, also of four bays, features a loft door in the gable end to the west and has a queen strut roof.
