Description
Essendon Manor is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, constructed of red brick. It features a hipped plain tile roof with a central ridge chimney stack. The building may have originally been designed as a semi-detached pair. It stands two storeys tall and has segmental-headed openings on the ground floor. There were originally four evenly spaced windows on both floors, with two surviving on the left side of the ground floor. All four upper floor windows remain intact, showcasing original two-light oak mullioned frames, although a modern window has been inserted between the right-hand pair. At the rear, there is a 18th-century lean-to extension. The north elevation includes one original window on the first floor.
