Description

This barn, located about 35 meters south-southwest of Jeffery's Farm House, dates from the 17th or 18th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick base, with weatherboarding and brick nogging in the midstrey. The roof is tiled and the structure consists of three bays, with a central gabled midstrey that faces the house. Inside, there are straight braces connecting jowled posts to cambered tie beams, angled struts clasping the purlins, and straight windbraces. The barn is included for its group value.
