Description
Calf House, located about 60 meters west of Moor Farm House, is a cart shed that has been converted into a calf house. It dates from the 17th or 18th century and has been altered over time. The structure features a timber frame with a rendered brick base and is weatherboarded. It has a hipped tiled roof and consists of eight bays. Originally open to the yard, the building has been filled in with small hinged doors and windows. Inside, there are some curved braces supporting the tie beams, renewed queen struts that clasp the purlins, and curved braces in the walling. This building is included for its group value.
