House. Late C17, remodelled and extended late C18 or early C19, altered C20. Red brick retaining some older timber framed walling. Part cement rendered. Tiled roofs. 2 storeys with basement. 3 window front. Central entrance with flanking tripartite sashes, gauged brick flat arched heads. High plinth up to sill level of windows. First floor flush frame glazing bar sashes with gauged brick flat arched heads. Close eaves to hipped roof. Left end original external stack with multiple offsets. Right end external stack with flanking sashes on ground floor, first floor sash towards rear. Entrance in projecting rear addition. Rear elevation has 2 projecting additions, each with a double gable, that to left projects further with a ground floor entrance and small sash. 2 first floor glazing bar sashes. To right projection a lean-to outshut with a sash window. Attached to left a 1 storey outbuilding with a flint and brick front, weatherboarded rear. Interior in course of thorough refurbishment at time of inspection, queen struts, collar clasped purlin roof. (VCH 1905: RCHM 1910: RCHM Typescript).
