Description
Halewood Cottage is a late 18th-century house located on The Green in Rickmansworth, extended and altered in the 20th century. The house is constructed of red brick with a hipped tiled roof. It has two windows. The two storeys are characterized by a gabled porch addition to the right of the centre, an extruded left-end stack, and a ground floor with two-light casements featuring cambered heads. The first floor has two-light timber glazing bar casements. Dentilled brick eaves are present. A 20th-century extension is located to the right. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for group value.
