Description

Bay Cottage is a late 18th-century house located on The Green in Bolingbroke, with minor alterations made in the 20th century. The house is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern and has a pantile roof. It features two brick gable stacks with brick coped and tumbled gables. The two-storey, three-bay façade has a central doorway with a 20th-century part-glazed door, flanked by single margin light sashes. Above the central margin light sash are two wider margin light sashes to the eaves, also flanked by single margin light sashes. All openings have segmental brick heads. A catslide extension is present at the rear.
