Description
41A Fishpool Street is a 16th-century, T-shaped building made of timber with an overhanging upper storey. It has two storeys and two windows, featuring high-pitched tiled roofs. The building has a rectangular chimney stack on the ridge with four diagonal shafts. The first floor is cement rendered, while the ground floor is plastered and has pargeted decoration between the windows, along with a brick plinth. The sash windows have been restored. Inside, the first-floor front room boasts a late 16th-century plaster ceiling decorated with stylized roses, crowns, and fleurs-de-lys among raised borders. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 37 to 41A on Fishpool Street.
