Description
51A High Street is a three-storey house within a terrace, built around 1810. The building is constructed of stock brick with rusticated render on the ground floor and features a slate roof.
The exterior consists of three storeys, with a rusticated ground floor that includes a cornice, rendered cill bands, and a parapet at the roof, topped with a chimney stack on the north-east side. The first and second floors each have two bow windows, featuring eight-over-eight glazing bar sashes with gauged heads. On the ground floor, there are two arched openings; one contains a six-over-six sash window, while the other has a 20th-century doorway with a panelled door set between fluted pilasters. To the left side, there is a six-panelled door with a semi-circular fanlight, framed by a fluted Doric surround with a cornice.
The interior has not been inspected.
