Description

This is a lamp standard located in Childwick Green, immediately northeast of the wellhead on the green, southeast of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp standard features a spiralled shaft and has ladder rests at the top adorned with Egyptian-style palmettes. It is topped with a lantern that includes an iron coronet and a glazed dome.
