Description

This is a lamp standard located opposite number 12 in Penlee Gardens, Stoke, dating from the late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a moulded octagonal base and a fluted shaft that is moulded above. The lamp standard has a moulded and fluted cross bar, and it originally includes a tapered lamp housing topped with a turned finial, which is supported by four serpentine-shaped supports.
