Description
Lamp standard located opposite number 11 in Penlee Gardens, Stoke. This lamp standard dates from the late 19th century and is made of cast iron. It features a moulded octagonal base and a fluted shaft that is moulded above. The standard has a moulded and fluted cross bar, and it supports an original tapered lamp housing topped with a turned finial, which is held up by four serpentine-shaped supports.
