Description
The Thatched Cottage, located at the corner of Lower Luton Road, is a 17th-century cottage that was modified around 1930 in a picturesque style. It features an exposed timber frame with red brick infill and has a deeply thatched roof that is half hipped at the ends. The cottage consists of three bays positioned at right angles to the road and is one storey high with attics. It has four 20th-century leaded casement windows and a central dormer that is recessed in the thatch. Additionally, there is a thatched porch hood and two thatched gabled dormers.
