Description
Laburnum Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered. It is timber framed with brick infill, some of the brick laid in a herringbone pattern. The roof is thatched, with two rendered chimneys. The two-bay front has a gable facing the road, featuring a modern casement window. A door is located on the right-hand side, sheltered by a modern thatched canopy, and a single-light casement window is on the left. There are two small upper casement windows. The rear bay is lower, with a half-storey and a dormer window. It has a two-light casement on the ground floor. A modern wing is attached to the side, and a small catslide extension is set into the front bay, following the line of the thatched roof.
