Description
Plater's Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered. It is constructed from witchert and brick and features a thatched roof with a half-hipped gable facing the road. The cottage has brick chimneys at each end and is one storey high with an attic, following a T-shaped plan. The gable that fronts the road displays exposed timber framing. On the first floor, there is a four-light old leaded casement window, while the ground floor has a modern three-light casement. Additionally, there is a small two-light casement on the right flank and a door on the left flank.
