Description

This is an 18th-century house located on the south west side of Bishopstone. The house is constructed of red and blue brick, with a hipped roof covered in old tiles. A prominent chimney stack rises from the centre of the roof, featuring projecting courses and a corbelled top. The front facade has two storeys and three bays, each with a three-light casement window. The ground floor windows are set back and have segmental brick arches, while the first-floor windows have flat brick arches. A central doorway is flanked by a recessed panel above with a moulded brick frame. At the rear, a section of the house projects outwards, covered by a continuous catslide roof.
