Description
This mid to late 18th-century stable, coach house, and cottage forms a single range located south east of Mackerye End. The structure is primarily red brick, with a plain tile roof. The cottage section at the south end has later 19th-century casing. The central section of the building is weatherboarded and contains chamfer-stopped floor beams with run-out stops. The left end features a small, gabled projection dating back to the 18th century, with one sash window and 19th-century stable partitions inside. The right end is a two-window cottage with a central plank door protected by a cut bracket hood. The windows are glazing bar casements, and there are two gabled dormers on the roof.
