Description
This milestone, located at the north-west corner of the Dairy and immediately north of Gorhambury House, is likely from the late 18th century. It is made of Portland stone and features a square pier that stands about 1 metre high. The inscriptions on the south and east sides are identical, though partly illegible, stating: 'This ... from London 22 miles to 6 Furlongs 12 Poles'.
