Description
Dane End Farm House is a house dating from the late 16th century, with extensions and alterations made around 1980. It has a timber frame that is rendered and features a steeply pitched tiled roof. The layout consists of a three-cell lobby entry, and there is a 20th-century projecting gabled porch located to the right of the center. The house has two-light small pane flush frame casements and a multiform axial ridge stack. The left end gable has a half hip with exposed plates, while the right gable end jetties on curved brackets. At the rear, there is a 20th-century gabled wing with lean-to outshuts on the left side. Inside, the house features a crown post roof.
