Barn. C17/C18. Timber frame on tarred brick plinth, dark weatherboarded, with steep old red tile roof carried down over lower part to rear. Applied white-painted boards on external gable tops representing a V-shaped roof-truss possibly added by E.L. Lutyens c.1911 when building surrounding groups at Hill End (now Langley End). A tall 3-bays barn facing E, with large double doors in middle and small inserted boarded garage door in S bay. 2 purlins to each roofslope. Separate entrance and window at N to rear outshut. Included for group value.
