Description
This barn, dating from the 16th to 17th century, is located approximately 200 metres southeast of Langford Hall, on the opposite side of the road. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding and has a roof clad in corrugated asbestos. The structure sits on a brick plinth and includes a gabled midstrey. There are forward outshots on both the right and left sides; the left side contains a three-bay open cart lodge, while the right side is weatherboarded and has a vertically boarded door with shutters. The barn consists of five bays, with arched braces supporting the tie beams and through bracing in the walls. The central bay has jowled storey posts, and the roof is supported by side purlins with collars.
