They are constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, featuring batten decoration, and have a roof clad in grey slate from the 20th century. The cottages have a central red brick chimney stack and are two storeys high. The first floor has a range of four windows with 19th century style two-light casements, while the ground floor features three-light casements, both with pentice boards above. The doors on the left and right are vertically boarded and also have pentice boards over them. Inside, notable features include a large chimney stack and beaded vertically boarded doors.
