Description

This barn, located 25 meters east of Lower Titmore Farmhouse, dates from around 1700. It features a timber frame set on a red brick sill, with dark elm boarding and a steeply pitched roof that was originally thatched but is now covered with red tiles. The barn has three bays and faces west, with double doors located in the middle bay. It is supported by long straight braces and long straight inclined queen-posts, which hold one clasped purlin on each slope. This building is included for its group value.
