Description

This is a barn located on the east side of Tallents, dating from the 16th or 17th century. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding and a plain tile roof. The barn has four bays and a queen post roof supported by braces to the tie-beams, along with original curved windbraces in the northern end bay. There is a projecting cart entrance on the west side with an altered roof, which is part of an 18th-century lean-to that has a red brick plinth and a corrugated iron roof. Additionally, there is a single-storey low range on the north side, also from the 16th or 17th century.
