Description

Pin Cottage and Numbers 12 and 16 are a range of worker's cottages dating from the 17th to 18th century. They feature a timber frame structure that has been encased in mid-19th century brick, which is now painted. The cottages have a low pitched slate roof and are two storeys high with attics. There are two red brick ridge stacks from the 17th to 18th century. The building includes six 20th-century casement windows and four eaves dormers, each with 9-pane casements. There are three doors with 20th-century reeded frames and bracketed hoods. Inside, the ground floor rooms are characterized by heavy chamfered ceiling beams.
