Description

Swan House, formerly the Swan Inn, is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features a timber frame with roughcast walls and a plastered coved eaves cornice. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has a central square red brick stack. The building stands two storeys high with an attic. There are two flush sash windows with wide wood frames. On the left side, there is an early to mid-19th century doorcase that includes fluted pilasters and an open mutuled pediment. The gable end has two sash windows on the ground floor and one in the attic.
