Description

Smithy Cottage is a mid-19th century house located on the north side of High Street, Ashwell. The house is constructed of white brick with a low slate roof. It is two storeys high, featuring three recessed sash windows with 8/8-panes, each with a gauged flat lintel. A central door has been replaced. Two stacks are present. The building is included on the list for its group value.
