Description

Nos. 4 and 6 Mill Lane are a pair of houses, likely originally built as a barn, dating from the early to mid-19th century. They feature roughcast walls and a tarred brick base, topped by a low-pitched slate roof with wide eaves soffit. The buildings are two storeys high and have five windows; the two central windows are sashes, while the outer windows are glazing bar casements. The left door (No. 6) is a flush panel door, and the right door has a plank design. Both doors are framed with simple moulded frames and have cut bracket hoods above them. A central chimney stack made of white brick rises from the ridge. These houses are included for their group value.
