Description

No. 5 Gardiners Lane is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features a timber frame with roughcast exterior and a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and three 19th-century sash windows that are slightly recessed in moulded wood frames. The left first-floor sashes are paired, while the right ones have replacement glazing bars. On the right side of the building, the ground floor has three casement windows, and the interior reveals exposed floor plates and heavy purlins.
