Description
This is a milepost located by the road outside Hollard's Farm, dating from the mid-19th century. It is made of white-painted cast iron and features raised black lettering. The milepost has a triangular shape with two faces that are inscribed with 'HITCHIN 8 LONDON 26'. The semicircular head is inscribed with 'Codicote Parish'.
