Description

Tithe Farmhouse is a house that was formerly a farmhouse, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of chequered red brick and has a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring brick-coped gable-end parapets with internal chimney stacks, shaped corbels, and attic floor bands. A rubbed brick front floor band and a moulded wooden eaves cornice add to its architectural details. The front has two late-19th century glazing-bar casements, and there is a 1970s door along with gabled attic dormers. At the rear right, there is an 18th-century lean-to that includes an external oven shaft, while a 1970s extension is located at the rear left.
