Description

Malting Farmhouse is a house that was formerly a farmhouse, built in the early 19th century, with a possible earlier core. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring four windows. It is constructed of red brick and has a glazed pantiled roof, with gable and rear chimneys made of red brick. The windows have flat arches made of gauged brick and small-pane sashes. The entrance doorway consists of a pair of doors, each with three sunk panels, and is framed by a broad architrave and a moulded flat canopy supported by Doric columns. There is a rear extension added in the mid-20th century, which is not considered of special interest.
