Description
30 The Street is a house dating from the 19th century, with a possible core from the 17th century. It is one-and-a-half storeys tall with attics and is constructed of flint rubble, featuring red brick quoins. The roof is thatched and includes an eyebrow casement dormer, along with a hipped one-storey section on the right. There is a gable chimney, likely from the 17th century, made of red brick. The windows consist of 2-light, 19th-century small-pane casements and a single-light iron casement with diamond panes. A 20th-century thatched lean-to entrance porch, which is weather-boarded, features a boarded entrance door. The house may have originally been one dwelling with No. 32 The Street and underwent significant alterations and subdivision in the 19th century. This building is included for its group value.
