Description

No. 87 The Street is a house dating from the early 17th century. It has a three-cell lobby-entrance plan and stands at one and a half storeys with attics. The structure is timber-framed and rendered, topped with a Roman pantiled roof that features gabled casement dormers. There are axial and gable chimneys made of red brick. The house has 20th-century casement windows and an entrance door. Inside, there are back-to-back open fireplaces in the hall and parlour, although one of them is blocked, and some exposed timber-framing can be seen.
