Description
No. 126, Wilbury Road is a house dating to 1905, designed by A Randall Wells. It is constructed of colourwashed brick with a brick coping to the gabled tile roof, and features a brick ridge stack. The house follows a three-unit plan. A lean-to porch with trellised sides gives access to a plank door, which is over-arched by a flat brick arch. There are two- and three-light casement windows with glazing bars, alongside smaller one-light casements set beneath the eaves. Though the interior was not inspected, it is characterised by a plain Arts and Crafts style, featuring plank doors and fireplaces. The building won Class IV at the 1905 Cheap Cottages Exhibition.
