Description

No. 11 Station Road is a house built around 1825, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a slate roof with gable stacks. The building has two storeys and a six-bay front, which includes a plinth and wrought iron railings. A wrought iron balcony runs the full length of the first floor and extends over the porch.

The central doorway is set within a porch supported by free-standing fluted Doric columns and an entablature adorned with triglyphs and guttae. Above the doorway is a traceried overlight and a panelled door. On either side of the doorway, there are two glazing bar sash windows, with the far right window being a 20th-century casement designed to resemble a glazing bar sash. The upper floor features six glazing bar sash windows.
