Description
No. 5 High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of thickly rendered brick and features a pantile roof with moulded wooden eaves and a single tall gable stack. The building is two storeys high and has four bays. The doorway is located to the left and includes an overlight and a panelled door. This doorway is flanked by two tripartite glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. To the right, there is a doorway leading to a through passage, which has a segmental head and a plank door. Above, there are two additional glazing bar sashes. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
