Description
Bridge House is a house dating from around 1700, with alterations from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features thatched roofs, which have coped and tumbled gables on the east side, along with a moulded eaves band. The house has tall, projecting gable stacks and is a single storey with an attic. The south front has four bays, with two two-storey late 18th-century bays set back to the east.
The entrance features a doorway with an ornate architrave that includes lozenge and oval patterning, a dentillated cornice, and a partially glazed, panelled door. To the left of the doorway is a single glazing bar sash window, while to the right are two glazing bar sash windows, all topped with segmental heads. Above, there are three gabled dormers, which are somewhat askew, each fitted with glazing bar sashes. The two late 18th-century bays to the east have two glazing bar sashes on the ground floor and two more above.
