Description

No. 18 Station Road is a cottage dating from around 1582, built by Thomas Wells. It features a timber-framed structure with roughcast rendering and a half hipped long straw thatch roof, which has a rebuilt red brick axial ridge stack. The cottage has a lobby entry and a three bay plan, with one storey and an attic. There are two dormers and two small 19th century windows, one of which has small fixed lights, while the other has three lights with the central light being recessed and sliding. The doorway to the lobby entry has a door made of two glazed panels.
