Description

Frandean is a cottage built in 1905 by Oswald P Milne, showcasing the vernacular style and recognized as one of the best examples from the 1905 Cheap Cottage exhibits. The building is two storeys high and features a single window. It has a tiled roof with a gabled front and projecting swept eaves, along with a brick chimney stack. The structure is timber-framed, with a painted brick plinth and weather-boarded walls. The front jetties out, supported by cut brackets. It includes mullioned casement windows with five lights, glazing bars, and shutters. There is a half-glazed door located on the east return.
