Description
This is an aisled barn located about 15 meters southwest of Roe Green Farm House, dating from the 17th or 18th century. It features a timber frame with a brick base and is weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn consists of five bays and has gablets at the hipped ends of the aisles. A lean-to has been added on the end facing the house. There are double doors on the left side in the second bay from the house, and the aisle stops before the final bay on the left return. A projecting wing is present on the right side opposite the double doors. Inside, the structure includes braces from jowled arcade posts to tie beams and arcade plates, queen struts to the principals, and collars clasping the purlins.
