Description
This milestone, located about 300 meters southwest of Redwell Wood Farm House, dates from the 18th century. It is a single stone approximately 1 meter tall, featuring a slightly tapering shaft and a roughly pyramidal top. The stone is carved with a sans serif inscription that reads: "16 MILES TO LONDON."
