Description

This is a barn located at Dukes Farm, 20 metres east of the house, dating from the 17th century or early 18th century. It features a five-bay timber frame that is weatherboarded and has a steep gabled roof, which is now covered in black corrugated iron. There is a gabled porch with double doors at the centre of the north side, and double doors on the south side as well. The barn has unjowled bay posts with morticed mid-height rails aligned in a row, and long curved braces supporting the tie beams.
