Description

Hoppetts is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is a tall, two-storey timber-framed building that is weatherboarded and painted blue, facing north. The house features a steep half-hipped thatched roof with lean-to outshots at each end. In the center, there is a large chimney with a door leading into a lobby by the stack. The building has three windows, which are 19th-century wooden two-light casements with horizontal glazing bars. A tarred brick plinth supports the structure, and there are louvred shutters on both floors of the windows to the west of the door.
