Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed house, extended in the mid-19th century. The main part of the house has a plastered timber frame, while the rear features a two-storey plastered brick extension with a 19th-century tiled gabled roof. A small, single-storey tiled extension with a gabled roof sits at the west end, including an internal gable chimney and a cast iron casement window on its west side. The original three-window front, facing south, has been altered; the original door has been replaced by a small window and a modern gabled tiled porch has been added to the left-hand end. Decorative panelling adorns the exterior with chevrons and scallops. Four-light 19th-century wooden casement windows are positioned on either side of the two-light central windows on each floor. A central ridge stack houses the staircase. The rear extension contains sash windows. A modern, single-storey plastered kitchen lean-to has been added to the rear.
