Description

This is a mid-18th century house located on Ermine Street in Thundridge. It's constructed of red brick with blue headers, and has a steep roof of old red tiles. The house is two storeys high and symmetrical, facing south with two windows. It features small, multi-paned casement windows with segmental arches above the lower windows. A four-panel door, half-glazed and with a gabled trellis porch, is set one step up. A single-storey extension of red brick and tiled roof is located on the west side. The property is an important traditional building situated on a corner plot in the centre of the village and is included on the list for its group value.
