Description

Church Cottage is a mid-18th century house located on Betts Lane, Nazeing. It is constructed of red brick with a red plain tile hipped roof. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window front. The ground floor has casement windows, while the upper floor features horizontal sliding sash windows, all with segmental brick arches. A single doorway is present, also with a semi-circular brick arch. A late 18th century lean-to extension has been added to the west.
