Description

Pond House is a cottage that dates back to the 15th century or possibly earlier. It features a timber-framed structure with plaster and a weatherboarded dado, topped with a hipped red pantile roof at the east end. The building has one storey and attics, with a two-window range of 19th-century casements and a gabled dormer. There is a simple boarded door and a small red brick chimney stack, likely from the 18th century, with a similar chimney at the rear. Inside, the cottage has a three-bay frame that may have originally included an aisle, which is now represented by the lean-to at the front.
