Description

Headmaster's Cottage is a house dating from the mid-17th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and consists of two bays with a central chimney bay. There are two windows on the ground floor and three windows above, featuring 20th-century casements. The entrance is a plain central door, and there is an original central red brick chimney stack. On either side of the cottage, there are 20th-century lean-to extensions. Inside, the original frame is preserved, showcasing jowled storey posts and chamfered common joists. The cottage originally featured gables at the front.
